FY2025 Surveillance Audit Confirms Conformity of Our Quality Management System (QMS), and Certification Continues

We are pleased to announce that our quality management system (QMS) certification, first obtained in 2023, was confirmed as conforming in the 2025 surveillance audit, and the continuation of our certification has been approved.

QMS certification has a fixed period of validity. To keep it, a company must undergo regular surveillance audits that confirm its quality management system is being properly operated and that its continuous improvement activities meet the standard. This surveillance audit confirmed that our quality management system conforms to the requirements, and the continuation of our certification was approved.

A QMS is a systematic framework for continuously improving the quality of products and services. We are strengthening our quality management system through the following initiatives.

FY2025 Focus: Automating Business Processes

To systematically improve the quality of product development, we have defined six maturity levels for each of seven foundational areas and are working to raise the maturity of each area step by step.

In FY2025, we are focusing in particular on reaching "Automated," the highest maturity level, and aim to improve both development efficiency and quality by automating business processes.

Driving Automation in System Development

In system development, we use multiple tools to carry out our work, covering project management, requirements management, source code management, test management, and deployment management. In FY2025, we are concentrating on automating the flow of information and data between these tools.

Specifically, we are doing the following.

Automating data integration between tools We have automated the flow of information across multiple tools, including project management tools, requirements management systems, source code management systems, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools. This reduces the manual copying and updating of information and greatly improves operational efficiency while keeping data consistent.

Improving quality through workflow automation By automating routine processes such as approvals, reviews, test execution, and deployment, we prevent human error and achieve standardized processes and consistent quality. Automated workflows let us raise the productivity of the whole team while maintaining our quality standards.

Automating monitoring and reporting We automatically collect and aggregate project progress, quality indicators, performance metrics, and more, enabling real-time visualization and report generation. This improves the speed and accuracy of decision-making and makes it possible to detect problems early and respond quickly.

The Six Maturity Levels

We define the following six maturity levels for each area.

Initial A stage with many ad hoc fixes and no standardized procedures, where results tend to vary.

Defined A stage where processes are systematically documented and standardized. How tasks are carried out is clear and consistent.

Usable Defined processes are actually applied and operate in a functional, effective way. This is the stage where the benefits of standardization begin to show.

Learnable A stage that adds an emphasis on training and education to carrying out the processes. Employees receive support to understand the processes and operate them effectively.

Managed Processes are rigorously managed, and monitoring and metrics are used to measure performance. The foundation for improvement is in place.

Automated Processes are automated using technology, keeping manual work to a minimum. This is the most advanced stage, operating with high accuracy and predictability. In FY2025, we are focusing in particular on reaching this stage.

Next Steps

Taking this continuation of our certification as an opportunity, we will further advance the automation of business processes and keep improving our quality management system. By continuing to provide products and services our clients can trust, we will support the growth of their businesses.
