Co-Creation Project Begins to Streamline Industry-Specific Operations and Improve Communication
To meet a client company's need for greater operational efficiency and better communication, we have started developing a new web system as a co-creation project.
The system aims to solve the problems of business communication and document exchange that had traditionally been handled by email, and to optimize business processes. By supporting the client consistently from requirements definition through development and operations, we intend to see the client's challenges through to resolution.
The Client's Challenges and the Background to the Project
At the client company, much of the work depended on email exchanges, and delayed responses and overlooked information were frequent. It was also difficult to manage deadlines for submissions and to make approval processes visible, which reduced operational efficiency. These are problems that many companies face regardless of industry, and they place a heavy burden on frontline staff.
In this project, as a product co-creation partner, we are working with the client to make the requirements concrete and develop a system that optimizes the flow of work.
System Features and Expected Benefits
The system will handle web-based messaging, data sharing and submission management all in one place. This will make communication between the people in charge more efficient and allow quick decisions without important information getting buried. Status management for each submission and tracking of approval processes will also reduce delays in responses and increase the transparency of work. Furthermore, standardizing and automating work will reduce human error and lighten the load on employees.
We are aiming to start operations in June 2024 and plan to implement multilingual features so the system can support sites both in Japan and overseas.
