Starting Development of a Core System That Unifies All Operations for a Construction Business

We have started developing a core business system (integration hub) that brings all of a construction company's operations together in one place. By centrally managing the master data at the core of the business, such as companies, staff, craftspeople, sites and materials, and integrating via API with the existing ordering service "Di-Order," an app for craftspeople, an e-commerce store and an accounting system, it will bring digital transformation (DX) to the business as a whole.

Background

On construction sites, systems and tools have been split by task, such as ordering, arranging craftspeople, procuring materials and invoicing, and managing the same information in several places has led to transcription errors and inconsistent information. In this project, we will solve this structural problem by establishing a single "source of truth" for the scattered master data and building an integration hub that every system refers to.

How the Project Will Proceed

The plan is to build a master data integration platform as the first phase, then expand step by step in later phases with business functions such as estimates, quantity takeoff, invoicing and cost management. Assuming integration with the cloud ordering service and the app for craftspeople that we have developed for the same industry, we are proceeding with a design based on actual business data.

The system also incorporates AI agents in part, with AI agents supporting the management of documents and folders. We will gradually widen their scope and, through the use of AI agents, help raise the standard of operations across the construction industry.

As a co-creation partner, we provide consistent support from requirements definition through operations.
