Co-Creation Begins on a "Hand-Raising" Matching Platform That Connects Companies with Regional Communities
We have been selected as a co-creation partner to connect corporate retreats and offsite meetings with regional tourism businesses, and have begun developing a "hand-raising" matching platform. We are building a new matching mechanism in which AI automatically generates the best itinerary proposals based on a company's needs, and regional facility operators can respond with proposals by "raising their hands," that is, putting themselves forward as candidates.
Development Background and Market Challenges
When planning corporate retreats, offsite meetings, and workations, it is difficult to find the best region or facility among the wide variety of options across the country. In particular, there are few ways to find attractive places beyond well-known tourist destinations, or experiences unique to a particular region.
Meanwhile, regional tourism businesses find it difficult to make contact with corporate groups that have not yet decided where to go, and face challenges in acquiring new customers and promoting the appeal of their regions.
Conventional matching services mostly take a format in which the platform presents options one-sidedly, making it hard for companies to come across attractive regions and experiences they had not initially considered. Regional businesses, too, have had limited opportunities to make proactive proposals that draw on their strengths.
Service Overview
This platform adopts a new "hand-raising" matching mechanism to solve these challenges.
Its main features are as follows.

AI-generated itinerary proposals: When a company posts an event request, AI automatically generates the best itinerary proposals based on conditions such as the purpose (team building, training, workation, and so on), area, dates, number of participants, and budget.

"Hand-raising" matching: Regional facility operators can respond to the generated itinerary proposals by "raising their hands," that is, putting themselves forward with a proposal. Regional businesses can take a proactive approach that draws on their own strengths.

Creating unexpected encounters: By shifting the approach from passively "waiting" to creating "encounters," companies can discover attractive regions and experiences they had not initially considered.

Comprehensive features: By integrating the features both companies and regional businesses need, such as payments, multilingual support, and allergy accommodations, the platform also makes post-matching operations more efficient.
Future Plans
The project is currently in the early stages of development, and we will work together with our client to implement the features that both companies and regional businesses truly need. Pre-registration has opened for facility operators in Nagano Prefecture, and we will expand the features step by step while gathering feedback from actual users.
