Co-Creation Begins on a Matching Service That Helps Students Find the Best University for Them
We have been selected by a client company as a co-creation partner and have begun a project to build a new portal site that connects universities with prospective students. The aim of the project is to efficiently match high school students who want to go on to university with universities that recruit students through comprehensive selection (総合型選抜) and open recommendation (公募推薦) admissions. As a co-creation partner, we will work closely with our client toward the project's success.
The Client's Challenges and the Background to the Project
Our client faced the problem that almost no portal sites provided university information focused specifically on comprehensive selection and open recommendation admissions. Another major problem was the lack of infrastructure that lets high school students search effectively for the schools they hope to attend and choose the university that suits them best. This project addresses these challenges by offering a new option that connects high school students and universities.
System Features and Expected Benefits
The system under development will not only let students easily search for universities that match their preferred conditions, but will also let universities approach students effectively based on how well they match. The project has only just begun and there are no concrete results yet, but we will work together with our client to maximize the expected benefits.
