Development Begins on a Data Analysis Tool That Needs No Specialist Knowledge: Just Ask Questions in Japanese

We have been selected as a co-creation partner to solve challenges in data analysis work and have begun developing a data analysis tool as a new business. The service is a data analysis tool that requires no specialist knowledge: you upload CSV data and simply ask questions in Japanese to complete your analysis. Working with the client company, we aim to provide a more effective and easier-to-use data analysis environment.

Development Background and Market Challenges

Many companies face challenges with data analysis such as the following.

Producing regular monthly reports takes a great deal of time, while a shortage of people with specialist knowledge such as SQL and spreadsheet functions means data analysis work is concentrated on a few staff members. As a result, data analysis becomes dependent on specific individuals, and work stalls when they are absent.

We also often hear that companies try introducing various tools, but the tools are too complex to master and never get put to real use.

Service Overview

This service solves these challenges and provides a data analysis environment anyone can use right away.

Its main features are as follows.

  • Usable without specialist knowledge: Just upload a CSV file and ask a question in Japanese, such as "show me the monthly sales trend," and the analysis is done. No knowledge of SQL or complex functions is needed.

  • Fits a wide range of work scenarios: It can be used in many settings, including producing regular reports in sales and business planning, understanding user behavior in startup management, and LTV analysis and ad performance measurement by marketing and e-commerce staff.

  • Data security: Uploaded data is automatically deleted after a set period, minimizing the risk of information leaking outside.

Next Steps

The service is currently in the early stages of development, and we are developing features that fit real work scenarios in cooperation with the client company. We will recruit 100 early monitor users, optimize the features while collecting user feedback, and push development forward toward the official release.
