Mobile App Engineer (iOS/Android)

Job Description

We are looking for an engineer with a strong interest in business co-creation who can get actively involved and take the lead. In addition to broad, advanced technical skills, the role calls for active involvement in the business, an open mindset, and a strong desire to learn and adapt to new things.

Responsibilities

• Handle the design, development, and maintenance of iOS and Android apps using Flutter

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to ideation and design for new business ventures

• Understand the product’s purpose and help achieve it in the best possible way

• Follow app development best practices and write clean, scalable code designed for easy maintenance

• Actively take part in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and improve overall code quality

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimize app performance, and ensure stability

• Stay on top of industry trends and new technologies and put them to use in business development

• Contribute to creating an environment that embodies and promotes our mission and core values

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 or more years of app development experience, centered on Flutter

• Broad understanding of app design principles, patterns, and best practices

• Experience using RESTful APIs or GraphQL

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Communication and teamwork skills, and an understanding of diversity and inclusion

• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and adapting to change

• Understanding of and alignment with our core values (pursuing customer success, continuous improvement, and increasing repeatability)

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Project management experience

• Basic knowledge of or experience with “design thinking”

• Experience with requirements definition, design, and prototyping

• Proficiency in multiple technologies from our technology stack

• Experience in business development and validation
